Ever hear God?

In the book, Faith of a Mustard Seed, I give plenty of examples of how God spoke directly to me and my wife.  It is undeniable how God has directed our lives and our ministry by giving us clear direction and hope.

Today was another one of those days. I have been praying for months that God would show me how to minister to the poor and needy while at the same time surviving in this financially demanding world.  Even if the people we minister to, which are mostly low income families and children, were to tithe 10% of their income it would barely pay our church electric bill each month.  However, no matter what the cost, we must minster to the ones that God himself came to save.

Today, just before eating breakfast, God answered me.  I have been through enough battles of faith to know the difference of when "I am reading His Word" and "when God is really speaking through His Word".   Today, God was clearly speaking to me.

"Then He will give you rain for the seed which you will sow in the ground, and bread from the yield of the ground, and it will be rich and plenteous; on that day your livestock will graze in a roomy pasture." Isaiah 30:23 (NASB)

God is moving within this outreach and I love to hear Him speak and see Him do such great things! Do you want to know more about God and how He works, just simply obey His calling on your life and you will experience these blessings first-hand.
