What stops you from evangelizing?

Many people become frightened by the thought of evangelizing.  I personally hated the thought of going through the neighborhood, knocking on doors and talking about Jesus to complete strangers.  I could never imagine holding a sign and a bullhorn on a street corner and screaming out about heaven and hell.
